Last summer I updated my Garmin 295. Now everytime I turn it on the
first thing that happens is the unit beeps twice and a message pops up
saying..."Aviation waypoint was deleted..Enter" I have to hit the enter
button to get past it. I have no waypoints in memory now, there may
have been waypoints in memory when I updated it. Anybody how to get rid
of the message?

That deleted waypoint is still included in a route that you have
stored. Remove the route, and the message will go away.

I don't know for sure, but if I recall, I got a similar message from my
295 after modifying a route that used waypoints from another route. The
message may be that a custom waypoint that is referred to in one of your
routes has been deleted. Check your custom waypoints.

Yep, that did it.
